The 2nd half of the Season kicked off with an away trip to Longniddry. The game started with the team producing flashes of where they left off last week at the MYS Festival and, if it hadn’t been for some excellent goalkeeping by the Longniddry goalie, Gullane would have scored a lot more than the 3 they did. It has always been the approach to let players experience playing in different positions which asks a lot of them but it does make them adapt to different situations in games, which will hopefully allow them to develop into more rounded players.
With the Transfer Window closing on Tuesday the coaching staff are more than happy with the current playing squad and do not forsee any additions to the playing staff. Next Fixture is home versus Musselburgh on 5th Sept with a 11am Kick Off . Hope to see as many supporters there as possible.
